American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS):The AXCS is the United State's national membership association for "Master" skiers (the equivalent to NENSA on the national level). They act as the United State's link to the international cross country ski community, as the official representative to the World Masters Association. They annually host the National Masters Championships and trips to the Masters World Cup. The highly technical XCSkiworld Website is plethora of nordic information. Coastal Nordic Ski Club (CNSC):Maine Nordic's sister club serving the greater Portland area. Coastal Nordic membership benefits include: groomed trails at the Twin Brook Recreational Area in Cumberland (10km's, 1-2 km's snow-making), Bill Koch Youth Ski Ski League (BKYSL) youth skiing program, and the Maine Coast Nordic Junior program coached by Paul Stone.
